i make a lot of remixes of video game songs but i keep seeing in the forums about how this is all illegal and i was just wondering becasue some people center their music profiles around all these video game remixes and have like a million and nothings ever been done about it.. i just want to know before i end up in a courtroom trying to fight off nintendo D:

It's all cool, unless you used any parts of a pre-existing original song. If you re-made it from scratch (and I don't mean MIDI-exporting, I mean everything made from scratch), it's fine.
